  I have had my ‘Poolsaver’ auto cover for 18years now. I rarely have trouble with it, but now that ‘POOLSAFE’ has taken over ‘POOLSAVER’, I have had nothing but bad experiences with them.
  I had to replace the original cover and motor about 5 years ago, so this one is not really that old.
  Very simply, their repair service is outrageously priced!
  Second, EVERY SINGLE time the repair guy comes out to do a job, even AFTER giving me an estimate, he ALWAYS try to “UP-SELL” me for additional work!
  I have found a new Pool Service Co. closer to my home and they NEVER try to UP-SELL me.
  Steer clear of POOLSAFE and if i had the time, i would sue them for their questionable tactics...
  PS I needed a very simple, new spa cover (made from vinyl and about 9’ round) and their estimate for a new one was $1,000.00!! :(
